Charities TMR Supports

TMR has been raising money for several years in a row to help children with cancer. All TMR employees participate in this annual event to help the organization raise money for Make-A-Wish Foundation. These fundraising efforts help to grant wishes to over 800 Michigan children each year.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation “creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illness.”

TMR held a BBQ and donated much needed supplies to the veterans living at the VOA in Detroit, Michigan. TMR also spent time volunteering at the VOA in Detroit, participating in a clean up effort around the building, Our veterans deserve a nice, comfortable place to spend their time, and TMR worked to ensure the VOA building was just that!

VOA is one of the nation’s largest nonprofit providers of quality affordable housing and resources for our veterans. Through their efforts, they can provide homes to nearly 25,000 people each year. VOA proudly serves more than 27,000 veterans and their families nationwide who are experiencing (or at risk of) homelessness.

TMR’s efforts helped Turning Point provide food for 16 families during the holiday season. Personally delivering 16 full Thanksgiving meals, and delicious Blazo’s Pumpkin Pies to help bring the spirit of the holidays to the homes of the less fortunate.

TMR also delivered gifts to Turning Point for multiple families over the years to make their holidays a little brighter.

Turning Point empowers survivors of domestic and sexual violence through comprehensive services and resources while advocating for community action to end oppression and violence.

TMR annually sponsors the Senior Luncheon Holiday Party, hosted by the Godmothers organization. This event is a true bright spot in the lives of those that attend. Seniors get the opportunity to mingle and socialize with volunteers and their neighbors while enjoying Christmas carols, participating in games, and winning prizes throughout the day.

TMR also creates and delivers holiday cards to senior citizens in the area. Elders are often overlooked during the busy holiday season, and these cards bring such joy to their hearts! This is/was especially true during the Covid-19 pandemic, when visitors were restricted at most facilities. TMR worked with staff to arrange safe delivery and distribution of holiday cards so the residents knew they were loved and not forgotten during the holidays!
The Godmothers have been serving the Detroit Metropolitan community since 1999 and their projects are as diverse as the women who have supported them over the years. The Godmothers have delivered food, clothing, appliances, furniture, and gifts to needy families throughout the metro Detroit area, and continue to do so.

At TMR, we truly embrace the spirit of giving, especially during the holiday season. The support for SOUL was just another example of that.

TMR delivered a truckload of gifts and items to the SOUL Organization which were distributed to members and families.

"When we first engaged with Telecom Management Resources (TMR); we were cautious. We quickly came to appreciate the difference in how TMR “works” and their structured approach to varied problem-solving scenarios. We as a business no longer invest resources to determine “who” to work with… instead we now move efficiently through options and impact business operations with the assistance of our partner (TMR). TMR is more and more has become our “internal Telecom Department” and it’s a win-win for both organizations."
